health care (n.), health-care (adj.) HelpDesk Use HelpDesk when referring to the information and assistance desk of the Office of Information Technology in Gordon Palmer Hall. Otherwise, use two words and no capitalization: help desk. high school (n.), high school (adj.)*, high schooler (n.) Students who took at least two years of foreign language
in high school take our placement test. *Use a hyphen when the possibility of misreading exists, such as to avoid confusion with a drug-induced state: Maggie is a troubled, high-school student. homecoming Capitalize only when the year immediately follows. HTML HTTP, HTTPS When space permits and if necessary for the sake of clarity, include Internet protocols such as http:// and https:// in Web addresses.
